My Boy

I took the advice of Ashley Ann of Under the Sycamore and took pictures of Mr. S as he was waking up from his nap. I’ve been glued to her blog as of late—go give her and her poor little Firecracker some love. Anyway, this isn’t the first time I’ve taken these post-nap pictures, but the light was so gorgeous in this set I had to post them. I love my parents’ “girly” duvet covers. They are the perfect backdrop for my boy’s soft, pink, post-nap skin, and his mop of blond feathery hair.

Pink Birdhouse

I never got to see this birdhouse when it was red, but I like to think birds enjoy it more now that it’s faded to this beautiful shade of pink.
